It was probably in a warehouse somewhere.
2 out of 14 were like this. And the other 12 were miserable to work on as well. I've been working on trane stuff for a few years and this is nothing new. Frankly I'm not impressed with their equipment or their field guys. And their drives are enormous pieces of shít.retiredsparktech said:It was probably in a warehouse somewhere. Someone needed a motor real bad, to replace one that failed under warrantee. They couldn't get a motor right away, so one of the reps told a worker to pull a motor from the unit in stock. I seen that happen many times. I looks like a Baldor motor. A decent motor.
Send Trane a bill for your time. :thumbup:I have to wire the motor. The peckerhead cover is 1/2" away from the sidewall. I'll have to pull the motor
