Yes I had to go out and correct some receptacles not working.
Was affecting the furnace receptacle.

Withing 10 minutes I figure where the issue should be, Behind the TV in a receptacle that is still working.
Yep, 90% of the time this is where the issue is.

So I get er did.

Left house at 8am
Got home by 10.

You know, its kinda funny, when i started working for myself all I had on my van were ivory switches & receptacles. This was because all i had ever worked on were commercial jobs and older homes. That was the first thing to go when i started seeing that 99% of the homes in my area built after the early80s (or something close to that) all had white devices.

I laugh now when i see a new ivory receptacle in a house. I dont even think I have any stocked on my trailer any more.

I'd sell them a whole house device replacements, panel tune up. break it up into three or four parts if you have to, so the customer can afford it. do some marketing in that neighborhood to replace devices, offer inspections to homes with that aluminum wiring

I have one plastic shoebox of ivory devices and they rarely get used. However, there is one new home building contractor in my area who specs ivory devices in his homes.
REALLY?!! That is odd. Everything out here is white devices.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea if I kept a small stock of ivory devices, but the only time I go into houses now that have them, its always some old rental and nobody cares what color device I put in, just as long as I get it back working again.

Yeah, I looked at a couple of his houses and I went "Huh? " But other than that guy, I've never seen anything but white used in new homes since about 1992 or so.
