I ran into an old customer the other day and asked him how things were going at another site his brother runs for the family. he told me they aquired some property and were building over there,I asked him where was my invite and he told me to go over and see for my self. Its been slow so I cruised by today... They have two dinner cruise ships docked there and just added a barge that was rigged up for a floating casino that they want to use as a floating building this beast is 425 feet long and at least 60 feet wide and has three decks.I only spent an hour there, the service was butcherd and not on the side where it is moored there were 300Kmil cables laying around what a fiasco>I asked him if he had plans he said were going to install a large kitchen ,a huge bar area for the passengers to embark to the cruise ships,a resturaunt, and a banquet room on the second deck ,with a tiki bar on the top deck.I said no blue prints, approved by the township He looked at me like what!I know they like to wing things but I told him,its time to do things right the first time because this will get stupid fast. There is a dock about 150 out to a floating ramp about 30 feet then to a floating platform about another 100.on shore is a 750 kva 480volt Xfmr. Daddy big bucks is supposed to be calling it should be interesting to hear his ideas, because one of the last times I saw one of his babys I got a dumb waiter working at his first place and they built a elevator platform that weighed about 400 lbs, smoked the hell out of that 1hp.Any one ever do a commercial floating buiding? Did you use MC? Lets see if he calls before I get you all going! PS bonus was I found out from the captain their going out into the harbor this sunday because the three queens will be docked near the statue in NYC Harbor, got four tickets! Last hurrah for the great ole lady!
