It said it would be available for Android as well. My question would be how is this compatible with future phones? Say I get the iPhone 6 when it comes out, would I be able to use it with the new phone?
Exactly, it would be cool if they figured out a way to make it flexible to work on all common smartphones so it doesn't go obsolete in 18 months...

When I went through some of the links, it eventually stated that Android will be supported in later 2014.

This could have saved me major cash instead of buying all the unnecessary equipment I have..

I bet the thing is a piece of junk, but that is FLIPPING AWESOME and I'm buying one.
I've been wanting one for my house just to find air leaks and cold spots.. then I can strap that on and impress some clients with garbage data and maybe sell them on some upgrades.

Yeah $1200 for a garbage imager is out of my price range.. $349 for a garbage imager is right in my budget!

I was just reading in another forum how a guy took his Flir E4 apart, realized it was the same internals as an E8 and hacked the firmware to give it the same functionality.
I wonder if the other flir models do the same thing?
