Thermostat Cut Off When AC is Present

Hey guys, looking for a little help with what to call something. I need a device that will disconnect a low voltage wire in a thermostat when AC power is present. Basically a box that, when electricity is ON (110v), it will cut off the thermostat or disconnect one of the thermostat wires. Is there something that exists like this? If I am not being descriptive enough let me know.

Thanks for any help! :
