So a practice test question is " the available current interrupting rainy of a circuit breaker is the maximum ------ the device is designed for."

Options are
A load
B Voltage
C fault current
D ampere rating (marked on the handle of the breaker)

So I think D but then 240.83 states "the interrupting rating shall not be required to be marked on circuit breakers used for supplementary protection.
So that doesn't apply right?
Thanks for any help
