When our fiberglass fish rods get to the point where they start giving out those nasty slivers of fiberglass in your hands I give them a couple coats of clear spray paint, really pile it on till it runs. Seals them up for a good long time. Just don't use colors because it will leave marks on your customer's walls.:thumbup:

use poly-urethane instead. works much better.

run tape down them length ways. works great. I will add that ours are used mainly for cable tray.

I've never pulled any off. Mine always break, then I have to buy replacements and grind the old ones off.

I've never broke one, had 2 ends come off just put them back on with JB weld, better than new.

If I can keep a tool safely and effectively in operation, of course I will.

LSD is the only company I know that offers replacement parts. Greenlee, I know, does not.

I use the sticks from harbor freight. Love them. Ten bucks for 30ft. Smaller dia. Let's them bend to a tighter radius. I've even bent a 90 in some emt and ran them through it to hit some blind spots
