Has anyone purchased a 2 pole home line square d 30 amp gfi breaker recently? I think I may have overpaid. I saw online for $95 and paid $145 at a supply house that I don't have an account at. I need it for tomorrow so couldn't order. Yes I can be quite the procrastinator.

I think square d sets thier prices so suppliers dont compete against each other. if you buy at a location that does not carry your "letter" you will pay. i.e. i paid $73 for a sq d breaker at a branch of a supply house out of town, when i brought it to my local guys attention he said it should have been $45.he said for me to always run my invoices by him for "adjustment". and btw i paid too much for my mc cable too, also adjusted.

FWIW, I order a lot from HomeDepot.com and find their service to be excellent, it's right on par with Amazon. I've been ordering full 40 space panels from them (free shipping), they always come undamaged.
Thanks for the advice. I was going to go for it through ND online but I blew it time wise. I wonder how the discrepancy can be so much if square d sets prices

I have been trying them lately but it seems their shipping is slow as ****. Is that because I am in BFE?
no its not because youre in BFE

I like using Homedepot.com for certain things but it does take forever to receive anything

I ordered a 6' brushed nickel downrod for a ceiling fan a year ago and it took 3 weeks to get it

Anytime I need something fast it's either Amazon or Grainger

SQ-D has programs and if you are not on it they stick it to you. I am OK with that. Loyalty counts.
I still use Siemens.
all manufacturers and suppliers have the rebate programs

I used to get a killer rebate for Cutler Hammer CH, but I was using a ton of panels a year

now that I don't use half as many my buying power sucks

I use Siemens right now and my prices are just ok
