Good morning.

I am new in Canada and still learning all the code and ins and outs.

If I have a 600V 3phase panel and I need 240/110V, can I install a transformer and take it to a 240V 3phase panel? Can I use a 50KVA transformer? Where do I find code on this?
Rule 26?

Any advice please and the more info the better.

Thank you
Nico

1. If you can find a transformer that is wound appropriately you can get any voltage you want.
2. Idk, what current? 50kva works for some stuff not others.
3. Transformers are in section 26
What are you trying to run? Maybe a vfd would be better?

Just need some extra receptacles and lights. Current panel is full and maxed. But I have a 200A panel and I have a 200A 3phase panel. Will probably not use more than 40 A on the panel.
