Can any one tell me the difference in trip classes ie.10, 15

Do you mean for motor protection? Look at motor service factor on nameplate

Time factor. Class 10 should trip within 10 sec. at 600% of rated current, Class 20 at 20 sec., etc. Check out this link:

Not the easiest read, but it covers the bases. I always set the overload current at the service factor of the motor, and use Class 20's.
