Does anyone know how much reserve you need to join the Local union s a contractor??


A friend of mine who has been a non-union contractor has asked me to come work for him and he wants to join the union in the next year.

He has the money but I don't think he knows how much he really needs.

Any info would be appreciated.

It's all up to your local. For example, to become a signatory contractor with my local, you need to provide a $25,000 cash bond.
