Voltage drop

I performed a voltage drop calculation on a 120V 15A circuit. The circuit needs ran a total of 200 feet. For me to get under the 3% drop I keep coming up with #6AWG. Does this seem correct? Guess I won't be back stabbing .

What is the actual load? Obviously not 15 amps. Or is it?
It will only be about 6.7 amps I am told. It is for a radio station tower.
In case your load really is 15 amp, your calc is correct. You could use 8 gauge, and only have 3.3% drop. This is the reason why you always see mega-sized conductors roped between seemingly low-load parking lot lights.

In that case, #10 will work great.

I like that too. My calculator is dinky DOS based.
I got it from Homer Simpson, in case any of you old time internet crawers know that guy.
Thanks for all the help. I think I will go with the #10. I just hope these guys are correct and it is 800W equipment.
