Just short out your two wires inside the Wago. No smoke, no spark. Easy shmeezy. Note: Replace Wago after use. A little messier with Stab-Loks :) .

Or just short em together and squint when they spark. :tongue_smilie:

Or if you take the stripped hot and stripped neutral, put the hot's copper on the insulation of the neutral and slide it on to the neutral's copper.

No spark, no smoke, no nuttin!

Just don't do it on old panels, they might not trip.

Can 99 and Frunk get together and do a youtube vid of this?

Now I know different cities, etc. but this is now and not 50 years ago. Someone can splice the individuals together so it looks good.

Then you could throw in a good sparkler to show how not to do it.

Then you'd have to replace the breaker as well. I give them titties 4 thumbs down

No sparks but still possibly ruining the breaker and blowing out splices. Hack level: expert

You're obviously not an expert hack. Amateur at best.

You can always say you tested the breaker and it was faulty :) .

You need a good one.

I like my Amprobe AT-2005 for finding breakers.

I love my Ideal 61-957. I use it confidently in data centers where turning off the wrong circuit will result in a Quick escort out the front turnstiles with no invitation back.

A GOOD circuit tracer that you can confidently use is worth every penny. A junk "breaker finder" can get you in trouble in a hurry if used in the wrong places.

How about a fluorescent light starter and a 100 watt bulb? Amp clamp to find the varying current.
