Any recipes you would like to share. What temp were you smoking at?
My recipe is kind of cheating. I just used the Cabelas kit that has the seasoning and cure packages. They are good for 15 pounds and super easy to use. Biggest thing I've learned is to use ice water. I put a container in the freezer a half an hour or better before I start to mix. If it's not cold enough, I add ice cubes. No ice in the mixture, just cold water.
As for the temperature, I set the smoker to "Smoke" and "P3". This keeps it at about 175-190°F. I use the middle burner on the right set as low as possible and monitor it to keep the temp in the same range.

Pulled a car out of the ditch.

Oh and verified an alarm system, tested it all, set off the alarm system, calibration on a fence intrusion detection system, and aimed all the cameras at the facility... I've been living there for 3 weeks... only had the cops show up once at 1am monday morning while I was working there... 🤣 if you tell me it's on test until 1am it better be on test until 1am, not 12:24am.
Kevin, are you posting a picture of you “helping someone” on the side of the road…..when you we’re actually cutting out their catalytic converter???!!

I knew it.

More instrumentation and controls wiring / verifying all I&C being installed matches the specs provided.

"No, you can't use wire nuts to splice T/C wire."
"Please run all 120V lines perpendicular to any signal wires, not alongside them in the panel..."
"Yes, we can make the 4 wire RTD work as a 3 wire RTD."
"No, you can't use the drain wire as a ground."

Tell them the splice is for cold junction compensation,...

Snow Fence Sky Tree Wire fencing

Don't question the uncut zipties, we have to wait until spring to tension them and cut them.

Tried and failed pulling wire from my meter main to my new workshop. It was my helpers fault as she refused to put her back into it then started asking me if i know what im doing and coming up with suggestions.

I told her "I don't know ive never pulled wire before" so now she's googling how to pull wire and wants me to watch a you-tube video. 25 years of marriage and she has no idea what i do for a living.

Got a rope, pulley, tractor to hold the pulley and a ford ranger to pull the wire tomorrow when a friend comes over that will follow simple instructions. Got to cook my own tea tonight as her little t-rex arms ache and shes tired after 40 minutes of physical labor.

My girlfriend, now wife, pulled a similar stunt. Was pulling a feeder to the garage. Pulled it mostly in by myself, needed help getting it to make the turn up the last 90. Maybe 5 ft left of rope till the wire would be out of the lb. I asked for help, she agreed, then proceeded to stand holding the rope in one hand, phone in the other, while telling me "yea, I can't pull any harder".... the rope was limp between the lb and her..... I said "ok thanks for the help" lol

had a friend come over later and with one nudge the last few feet flew right in.
