In one of the buildings at my new job, the FA system is run using what I can only describe as a bare copper coax conductor. Looks to be about 3/8" OD. The connector is brass (looks like a Kenny Clamp), and has 2 conductors emerging from some epoxy. I will get pictures tomorrow if necessary........anyone?

I first noticed it when I spotted some BX in direct contact with it. Is it a problem if it gets pinholes in it, or is it okay being that it is in a dry location? Its just up above the t-bar direct on slab.
