Hey guys, im sure some one knows what this is used for,I asked some guys at work but no one knew, I thought it was for recessed light trims??
Don't ask me how I know ... but I think its for making hook / knot rugs !

OR some kind of leather work !

Or tire repair !

Or I D K !

Please put me out of my misery .... what is it for ? :eek:

That's exactly what it is for. A real lifesaver for me, as I have trouble fitting my hand inside of the can trims that use the springs.

My father in law used to work for Point of Sale, and he found his old tool kit and gave it to me and this was in it.

I've only seen that advertised as a recessed lighting spring tool. I never knew it was sold as a universal spring tool.
