Have you ever done something wrong
Then later on after finding out what you did wrong
you corrected it and moved on
But - there's that little voice inside of you saying
Why did you do something so silly and stupid ?
Especially if you should have known better ?

I suppose we all do that from time to time

Whats your story ?

Once, a long time ago, I was servicing a motor for a client and while disassembling it, i broke the internal starter(this was a grinder motor). It was entirely my fault, i was pulling off one of the bells and didnt realize that the wire for the starter was stuck on it. I ended up using capacitor start instead(wired into the unused winding for the starter). I told them what happens and said they didnt have to pay(the motor did work, in fact better than before, just without the original starter).

I felt so stupid.

bought a brand new Harley Ultra Classic - never mentioned it to my wife before hand.

That wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't spent 14K 2 years prior on a motorcyle without mentioning it first .......................

Both times she found out when she came home and opened the garage door and they were sitting there
