I am adding a neutral from a well shed sub panel to a sub panel in my garage. This is overhead, and the run is roughly 70 feet. I will be running 30 amps of 240 out there. I believe that the current set up is 8/2 copper with an aluminum ground.

I am having a hard time finding an appropriate solid uv and weather resistant single strand of wire to add to this setup so I can convert to 240 and have a separate ground and neutral.

Thanks.

You're feeding a sub-panel, from a sub-panel? And you can't find any THHN/THWN wire at your supplier? How long you been doin this?
