Oh, just the ghettos of chicago.

I have seen it all.

they dont even bother stealing tools here, they just steal the car, or the entire gang box.

One of my favorites was when my coworker came out to having no bumpers. They didnt take anything else, just the bumpers.

PAY ATTENTION to your surroundings...:)

Last year we worked at a school that had a lot of bullet holes in the steel window shutters. This year I've been doing a lot of service at a homeless assistance place. I saw sex in the weeds, and guys talking to themselves, actually arguing with themselves. You ignore them and don't look them in the eye and they usually won't hassle you. Don't walk around smoking like another vendor did. He didn't have a cigarette left. I think I took pictures of the school.

Yes, these are school windows. Near 10th and MLK, (Martin Luther King) if that gives you a clue.

Yeah.

Guy wandered on site, asking for Kolonopins.

Another guy wandered up, furtive as hell, soaked in sweat, and "looking for demo work." I could see him scoping out the place. I let my boss know, but boss still kept tools there. $2000 in tools missing shortly thereafter.

Honestly, I can't think of much right now. I work in poor areas pretty frequently, and what I see depresses me, so my brain blocks it out.

rewired a house a year ago where every racial stereotype was present

hookers, cop cars, corner store, homies hanging out across the street sorting scrap

my favorite part of that job was when I came out to the van to get something and there was a guy riding down the middle of the street at 9 am in a motorized wheelchair carrying a plate of hotdogs

just weird random **** like that
