Not at all. It takes a few seconds and then I do something else while it runs.I think your working harder rigging that deal up than it would be to push on that deal
It's practically no work at all and it cost me nothing.Not a BLUE believer, but Bosch has a rotary hammer that doesnt need a weight to drive rods.

Canada?You guys are allowed to leave the service cable exposed? We have to enclose it in #80 PVC if below 8 feet.
Man, the weight goes over the rod and hangs from the handle. It takes literally no time at all and I can leave and come back and it's done. Bunch of pessimists in this group.I bet I could drive a ground rod quicker than u could rig that and put it away.
Depends on the ground hardness.I like it, but never noticed rod taking very long to drive with my rotary hammer. How long usually to drive with that?
