I built a baseball batting cage for my kids. The only problem is its 500ft away from any power source. I have 6 4 lamp T8 fluorescent fixtures and a commercial pitching machine with a 1/3 HP motor. Can I just run 3 10awg thhn wires in a conduit to power it? I'm worried about line loss. I'm eventually going to build a shop next to this that will have a desperate electrical service from the road so don't want to spend a fortune on this temporary line out there. Any suggestions?
