I bet it has its value for doing slab work.
Ran s**t loads of the stuff in slabs as an apprentice working on parking structures and high rises. Absolutely loved it over working with PVC, until trying to shove the stupid steel fish tape through with no flexible leader!:censored:

You would be better off using EMT.

MC cable poor wiring choice for a dwelling unit because you must have 100% of all the connections to boxes and fixtures wrench tight and I've never seen that happen on a commercial job, unless you are the only one making up all of the connections there will be loosely fitted connections to box clamps and such.

Just my two cents..
