Did they actually call you in to work on the train set? I love screwball jobs like that. I'm still waiting to get the call to fix the tesla coil at Boston Museum of Science. :laughing:
WHOA!!!!!!! That's union work right there! How can you live with yourself, stealing work from us brothers!
I actually got confused when I saw who posted it: "I thought Stuiec was the train guy...."

my dad was a science teacher. he helped his middle school students (7th/8th graders) in building a tesla coil. it was a great show and tell project for back to school night. they ended up borrowing all the modeling clay from the art department to use as an insulator before they stopped arcing thru from primary to secondary. lot of trial and error stuff. built their own capacitors, everything.
