Shake my hand and give me a sincere thanks, that is more than enough, I have had men say nothing and I mean nothing.Ive never gotten a gift for my boss before, even when I was a company man. But it's awkward when you get handed a check for 700 dollars and all you give them is a thank you. I think Xmas bonuses are a common expense for most companies and if the owner decides to be the kind that gives bonuses then he should have it figured in already. I really doubt any owners expect anything special from their guys but I'm not an owner.
Funny that you mention this. My boss and I were talking yesterday and he said that last year, a few of the guys didn't even as much as say thanks.I have had men say nothing and I mean nothing.
I'd fire any employee that gave me a gift. What's everyone's thoughts on this subject? I'm curious how owners and long term employees feel about it
Surely you jest.I'd fire any employee that gave me a gift.
Like it or not, psychologist have proven that brown nosing really does work for advancement. One brown noser i worked with would come in early and straighten up the bosses desk and bake him cookies periodically
I would fire somebody for touching my desk. One brown noser i worked with would come in early and straighten up the bosses desk and bake him cookies periodically
Those psychologists are brown nosersLike it or not, psychologist have proven that brown nosing really does work for advancement.
I doubt you have anything to worry about:whistling2::laughing:I'd fire any employee that gave me a gift.
