So, what are your thoughts re the latest standata for Alberta also which coincides with the new 2021 CEC on use of Useb90 and or Usei 90 cable being used for branch circuits? The new code in table 19 says Useb 90 cable is now allowed if installed with the applicable rules such as 10-610.
10-610 states that a bonding conductor shall be part of a cable or run with conductors in a raceway. Does a trench make a raceway? I doubt that.
With the single point grounding ideology, we are required to have only 1 ground plate, using useb 90 will require a bonding conductor. If a trench isnt considered a raceway...then i'd assume this cable cannot be used. ACWU or a tech cable seems like the only solution. Any thoughts?
