Its actually a great question. I have been trying to figure that out myself. The method i am trying now i put all my looseys in empty baby formula jars. Seems to work but id love to hear other ideas or see some pics.

 

We wrap our loose receptacles & switches in sandwich wrap and store in bins on the van. takes a little time but protects them from getting scratched up. we have a seperate storage box for each type of switch or receptacle.

 

Just leave them in the boxes they come in... All I keep is white so it doesn't take up that much room.. every other way I've tried to store them they end up getting scratched and dirty in no time

 

Plastic shoe boxes about a dollar each

 

I use them for other stuff they're awesome. 97 cents at wal mart in the plastic storage box section

 

Tupperware or something like that. What I'm going to do. I've tossed more dirty devices out than I care to remember.

 

Keep them in the box they came in and stuff a paper towel in the box to keep them from hurting each other.. :whistling2::laughing:

 

Yeah, I just hate it when devices rent Uhauls and drive through snowstorms just to beat each other up.

 

Anything you put them in other than the original box will scratch them unless you isolate the rec from each other

 

That is what the paper towel is for.. it keeps them tight together and no rattling around...

I use my dirty devices where they wont be seen even though i did just toss alot of them

 

I use the boxes they came in. Blue tape to fortify them. And if they are oddballs or dimmers/devices I use snack sandwitch bags.
Both trucks have small closets for devices...

 

we use blue painters tape. put 2 pieces on so the sides are protected and throw em on a dedicated shelf, works great.
