Here is how we will be doing it (We are starting full blown this Wednesday, the beginning of our pay period);

The call comes in and gets entered into our system and QBO. Once in QBO it syncs with Tsheets. No need to enter anything else in.

In Tsheets I have a set of job codes, such as driving, company meeting, safety meeting, free quotes, charged quotes, etc....

The employee chooses the appropriate job, then chooses the code associated with what they are doing. They can then switch jobs and/or codes accordingly.

All of this will then (Hopefully) sync seamlessly to our QBO and integrated payroll. I and/or my manager should in theory, and I assume this will have a slight learning curve, just have to approve what the software gives us.

Does this make sense? How are you currently doing it?

@Switched: You got it, once time is tracked in TSheets all you need to do is run an approvals report and export the time will come over to your QBO and with the jobs codes associated to it. Once the time hits your QBO account you can do whatever you want with it such as billing and even like you said run payroll.

I got a Coupon code to share with you guys if you are activating your account, which is ts253 which will give you 25% off for three months on the account.

If you have questions on TSheets send me a PM. I am experienced in the TSheets software.

Switched, I tried to PM you a discount coupon for 20% off if you decide to sign on to clock shark, I do not think the message went through (maybe I don't have enough posts to PM)

If you think you might want the coupon, let me know

Kevin
Hi Pearce, have you been happy with Clockshark system? I'm getting ready to pull trigger on either that or Tsheets. Also, would you happen to have a referral code? Thanks

Hey George D, it's Cliff here, one of the founders at ClockShark. I'm happy to answer any questions here or via help@clockshark.com

Thanks for your interest! And thanks to Kevin (Pearce Services) for providing a coupon code!

By the way, we got your PM but were not able to reply since apparently we do not have enough posts on this forum to be allowed to send a PM. Sorry about that!

I am loving Tsheets, but I don't have a coupon code. Guess I could ask them via email tomorrow and see what they say.

TSheets is still the best way to track employee time.

TSheets works great for my company. You can save 10% off for your first year with coupon code CPA and by following this link
The fact you spam a forum with advertising tells me that I do not want to do business with you at all.

ClockShark

I think ClockShark wins in my opinion. After using Tsheets for a few years, it was easy to switch over. Reports are easier to handle on the back end. Lunch is automatically taken out when they clock out so you dont have to waste time doing math on how many hours they worked. Tsheets is clunky if you ask me.
