They are pretty damn nice in comparison to the little blue things most guys wear. They are water proof, so I can walk in with soiled and wet boots and not have to worry about the booties falling apart or damaging carpet.

 

The blue booties do tend to wear out and fall apart quickly. Sometimes it's worth it just to have a dedicated pair of inside shoes.

 

This is what you wear when you drive over to the customers house and get out of your truck.

Then you leave them at the door and wear these inside-

I've done a few service calls and stuff in sandals. When I was commuting to a job an hour and a 1/2 away I would wear my sandals down, change in to work boots at the job, and then pull the boots off and drive back barefoot. It was great for my feet. I'm pumped its almost sandal season again. My poor feet are in rough shape after being trapped in boots for 4 months.

 

I'd rather bring a pair of boat shoes to put on for inside the customers place.

A nurse I did a job for gave me a bag of them so I'm good for a while. I don't know if there's a good brand name. They're disposable.

 

Those surgical booties are the best, they don’t fall apart.
Same goes for the disposable zip up surgical clean suits. They breath and don’t rip to shreds..

 

I try to get the ones made out of tyvec. They just seem to last longer. especially when I normally wear them out to the truck.

I ordered two pairs in 2016, both are still running strong and show no signs of needing replacement. The bottom part of them has a grip texture, similar in looks to a Rhino Liner bed spray.

I couldn't go back to those stupid disposable ones after owning these.

Bending over would do some of the fat bois on this site some good.

 

Those scare me. I would worry about it getting caught up or coming partially off when climbing a ladder.

It also seems like snow, mud, or water might fall/drip off the side edge of the boot onto the floor.

If you don't want to bend over, someone posted a cool automatic system in the other thread on this topic. You just push your foot in and the bootie wraps around it.

 

When your boots are covered in snow or rain water, I'm sure those blue booties work great. lol. Bring in a shipping blanket , throw it on the front porch outside the front door, wipe off your boots, kick the shoes on, and walk in. They are a strong selling point and always a conversation starter. As far as ladders go, they do get tight on the top two steps, but are fine beyond that
