Butt Connectors within Enclosures, Code requirements?

Is there any code restrictions to having open butt connectors extending AC circuits for DC power supplies within an electrical enclosure?

I would rather use butt connectors than wire nuts.

Does this need to happen within a junction box?

The power supplies have really short wire leads and they need extending to make it to the switch or power strip...

As a side note is there any code against having a power strip within an electrical enclosure provided it is rated for what kind of load it is carrying...

Thanks!
